All pulpit announcements must be relevant to the entire congregation, such as church fundraising activities, and activities that are church-sponsored and open to all.
Announcements should be submitted here by 8am on Sunday. The lay leader giving the Welcome will read the announcements. Pulpit announcements should not be longer than approximately one minute. All pulpit announcements are subject to approval.
Other announcements can be shared via the newsletter (email newsletter@follen.org by Wednesday at noon) or posted to Follen's private Facebook group, Follen Members and Friends.
Before submitting, please consider two questions:
- Is this announcement relevant to the entire congregation of Follen Church?
- Is this announcement about a fundraising event for Follen Church or about an event or action sponsored or hosted by Follen Church?
If you answered "no" to either of the above 2 questions, please share your announcement through our newsletter and social media. Announcements made verbally from the pulpit need to be about events/activities sponsored by Follen, for every person at Follen.
