Tear Down Team: 4:00pm-5:00pm

Friday, August 9th: Required Volunteer Information Meeting, 12:45pm-2pm** in the Dining Hall. If you would like to join us for lunch--please arrive at 12:00pm.

What is your first and second choice for volunteer tables?
Each table will consist of the following school supplies. We will need 2 volunteers for each table. Your job will be to look at the school supply list that will come with the child/ backpack and to place the items into their backpacks.

Clothing Room/ School Uniforms
We need 2 volunteers in the clothing room that will assist the mother and child/children uniform selection.
Help with School Uniforms?
Set Up Team: 7-10 Volunteers from 7:30am-9:00am
We will need a team to help with setting up tables in the Living Area 2 and placing the plastic bins with the school supplies to tables. As well as, displaying the supplies onto the correct tables.
Will you be available to setup?
Tear Down Team: 7-10 Volunteers from 4:00pm-5:00pm
We will need a team to tear down and put the left over supplies back into the bins and place the bins back into Ms. Rachel's Learning Center.
Will you be available to tear down?
Backpack Team
We will need 3 individuals who will be on-call during the event to put together backpacks for our Men's Shelter fathers and/ or other families who we have relationships with who live outside the shelter.
Will you be available to assist with the Backpack Team?
The Hostess will escort the family through the whole School Supply shopping experience. You will start at the Backpack/ School Supply table. The Hostess will hold the School Supply list and share with the volunteers what the child needs from that specific table. The Hostess will go with the families to the clothing room to assist in carrying all the items, while the Clothing Room assistance will be helping the mothers select the child's school clothes. If they have over abundance items that it will take more than 1 trip to their room-- the Hostess will stand at the Backpack table with the rest of the family's items until the return. The Hostess will then start with a new family.
We need about 3 volunteers.

Our training will consist of volunteer orientation, the Timothy Project job duty assignments, and overview of the day.
