What to expect when you visit Alessandra Artistry
Since the mandatory closure due to COVID-19, I want to assure you that I am taking the health and safety of my clients very seriously as I reopen my suite. There are many new safety precautions and sanitation measures that I am implementing. Below is an overview of what you can expect when you return to Alessandra Artistry.

*BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Alessandra Artistry is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at this time. Please be aware that if you walk in without an appointment, you will be asked to leave.

It is suggested that you make appointments ahead of time to be able to book your desired date/time, as I book up weeks in advance.
As of July 2020, I started double booking clients with a proper divider between seats that are not 6 ft apart. Not all appointments are double booked, but if you are concerned, please contact me in regards to your appointment. I do have a HEPA filter as well as the divider, and have had all positive feedback thus far.

Please reschedule as soon as possible if you are feeling sick at all. If you show up to your appointment sick, you will be asked to leave. Please note: If you DO become sick within two weeks of leaving my suite, PLEASE notify me as soon as possible. Honesty is very important and necessary for the health of other clients as well as myself.

All clients are required to wear a face mask that LOOPS AROUND EARS PRIOR to entering Sola. No bandanas, scarves, or masks that go around the head are allowed (due to service). You will be required to wear your mask for the duration of the appointment, EVEN if you are vaccinated.
Please remember to bring a mask you don't mind getting color and/or hair on- or bring a disposable one to change into.

All stylists are mandated to wear a face mask, as well as require clients in New York State. This will further protect clients from exposure due to close proximity during the service.
If I have another client in the room at the same time as you, a divider will be in place to separate and reduce exposure.

Please arrive on-time for your appointment and allow an additional 5-10 minutes for hand washing and parking.

Please come to your appointment alone (no extra guests or children without an appointment) for the time being.

*WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO THE SALON

Please TEXT 914-843-4513 if you arrive more than 5 minutes early to your appointment to ensure that I’m ready for you to come in. PLEASE NOTE- ALL WAITING AREAS ARE CLOSED IN SOLA- you may wait in your car or in the lobby of the building outside of the Sola doors!

Magazines, coffee beverages and tea will be temporarily unavailable. I DO have water and mints available for your convenience!

I will continue to practice social distancing when possible (except during your service).

*DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Wash your hands in the bathroom in Sola Salon suites prior to your appointment.

I am following strict sanitation and disinfecting procedures all day long. These procedures include but are not limited to frequent hand washing, disinfecting chairs, shampoo bowl, tools, disinfecting door handles and knobs, restrooms, and all high touch areas. Capes are ALWAYS washed after each client. I am also BARBICIDE CERTIFIED for COVID-19.

I will have a Germ Guardian HEPA air purifier in my suite with UV-C, which helps kill 99.97 percent of harmful germs, dust, pollen, bacteria and air-borne viruses.

You may be checked out for your appointment before the end of your service for time efficiency. Credit cards will AUTOMATICALLY be saved on my secure checkout service. CASH will be accepted- but no change will be given due to sanitary reasons. You may also choose to use Zelle/Venmo for gratuity.

If you have not scheduled a blow dry or haircut after your color service:
Self-blow drying after your appointment will be extremely limited, and will ONLY be allowed if the remaining time frame allows. You may be asked to leave with wet hair if time runs out, and you are not scheduled for a blow dry.

Upon arrival to your appointment, you:
- Understand COVID-19 symptoms and affirm that you, as well as all household members, do not currently have, nor have experienced the symptoms listed below within the last 14 days.

Symptoms of COVID-19 may include:
● Fever
● Congestion/Sinus Pain
● Fatigue
● Dry cough
● Difficulty breathing
● Loss of taste/smell

- Affirm that Alessandra Janicki is not held liable for any illness related or not related to COVID-19.
