Quarry Bay School Parent Teacher Association invite all students studying in ESF & PIS primary schools for the academic year 2016-17 to join the "5th Junior Chess Star Invitational Competition 2016".
Details are as below:

Organiser: Quarry Bay School Parent Teacher Association Limited.
Sponsor: Quarry Bay School.
Eligibility: ALL students of ESF & PIS primary schools in the academic year 2016-2017.
Date & Time: Sunday, 22nd January 2016 - 8:30am to 5:15pm.
Venue: School Hall, Quarry Bay School, 6 Hau Yuen Path, Braemar Hill, North Point. http://qbs.edu.hk/directions/
Parking: Not available.

Age Groups: Two age groups - Lower Primary and Upper Primary.
Dress Code: School PE uniform for ease of identification.
Rule & format: Swiss system with 7 rounds and based on FIDE Laws of Chess.

8:30am-9:00am Registration
9:00am-12:30am Round 1-4
12:30am-1:30pm Lunch
1:30pm-4:30pm Round 5-7
5:00pm-5:15pm Award Ceremony

Awards:
Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players in each age group.
Medals will be awarded to the 3rd to 9th runner-ups in each age group.

Enrolment Fee: HK $280 per student

How to Enrol:
1. Enrolment must be submitted by completing this online form.
2. A crossed cheque of HK$280 (payable to 'QBS PTA LTD') should be mailed to:
QBS PTA Office,

Braemar Hill, North Point,
Hong Kong.
