Out-Of-Pocket's 2026 AI Healthcare Hackathon: Hardware Edition Application (DEADLINE TO APPLY HAS PASSED) - WAITLIST ONLY
Thanks for your interest! The deadline to apply as an individual or with a team to be a hacker has passed  by 11:59pm PST February 9th, 2026. At this time, this application serves as waitlist only should there be an opportunity to have an available spot for this Hackathon to backfill. People will not be informed that they will not be utilized for the event. Outreach will only occur if we need to backfill. After the event, we will sign you up to be informed about upcoming Hackathon events Out of Pocket is hosting.

This event is in San Francisco: in-person attendance for the 3 days is by design mandatory, so only apply if you can all attend.

The event is on 4/17 - 4/19: We kick off on Friday evening and end on Sunday late afternoon. Please come ready to jam out into the late hours and with a meaty problem. Check out the website for a detailed schedule

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Submit 1 application for a team or individual.
  • We'll be using this email as the primary contact for your team.

Attendance Commitment: We put a ton of time and effort to match and create teams for this hackathon. It's extremely hard for us when people flake and teams end up getting let down.

We want to keep participation in this event free, but we also need to prevent flaking. So we're going to be requiring a $150 refundable deposit from all attendees if accepted. If you show up (which we expect you to!), the deposit is refunded within 48 hours of the Hackathon.

This helps reduce flaking and keeps teams strong - your teammates are counting on you. If you need to back out more than 30 days before the event, your deposit will be refunded. Withdrawals within 30 day of the Hackathon will forfeit the deposit. We hope you understand where we're coming from!
