Zine Workshop: Finding Your Place in History

Join Delta College English teacher and editor of NewPages.com, Denise Hill, to create zines!

Ever wondered about a “place” in Bay County? It might be a building - or the remains of one, a park, statue, bridge, railroad, or even an open space. (Bring any pictures you have!)  Together we’ll discover more about it to better understand the value of a place and your personal connection to it. You will learn how to make a zine (pronounced ZEEN), a small booklet about your “place” and have the option to share your research and findings with others.

This session is free and open to the public. All materials provided. Appropriate for ages 13+; younger only with adult partner.
