Oshkosh Sustainability Plan Team Application

The City of Oshkosh is seeking volunteers from the public as Community Input Team members to help develop a Sustainability Plan for the community. The City has engaged a sustainability planning consultant, paleBLUEdot LLC, who will work collaboratively with the City and the Community Input team.

Community Input Team members do not need to be residents of Oshkosh - those who work or own businesses or property in the City are welcome to join. The Community Input Team will work collaboratively to co-create the City’s plan by exploring, creating, reviewing, refining, and supporting the prioritization of actions to achieve the City’s sustainability goals. The Team is anticipated to include City staff members, representatives of other public agencies, and consultant team members. The City seeks to also include volunteer community members in this collaborative planning team. 

The Team will work together through a series of four workshop meetings expected to begin April 2026 and continue through August 2026. Team members will also be asked to complete tasks between workshop sessions. The total time commitment including meetings and tasks between meetings is estimated to be approximately 3 to 5 hours per month. (click here for more information )
