We are a group of students, professionals and families from India who have made the beautiful city of Dresden their home. Our aim is to bring the Indian community in Dresden together and to facilitate and foster the exchange of Indian culture with the locals in Dresden.

Throughout the year we organize various gatherings and events for Indians living in Dresden as well as for Dresdeners who want to share their love for the rich and vibrant Indian culture. The events are organized and coordinated by a dynamic team of members who devote a fraction of their valuable time in organizing events, supporting the community and performing administrative tasks.

𝐀𝐧𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫. The IAD Board decides on membership following a written application. Once approved, 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟏𝟎€ 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫. However, there is an 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for students (without income), unemployed and disabled persons from paying this amount.
