My aim is to help children and families to reconnect with the natural environment in a fun and meaningful way - through activities such as games, nature crafts, bug hunts, awareness trails, species identification, scavenger hunts, learning about uses of natural materials and many other Forest School activities.
The Summer camp will take place in a private woodland area of Charleville Demesne, Tullamore from 9.-11. July, 2019.
Each day we will play games that help us reconnect with our natural environment.
There will be games, nature craft activities, shelter building, wildlife tracking, bug hunts, species identification, awareness trails, scavenger hunts, bushcraft skills, and some wild food too.
The main aim, however, is to have fun in nature!
Please bring a packed lunch and ensure to dress appropriate to the weather. Appropriate clothes and solid footwear are essential to your child's wellbeing and enjoyment of their time in nature.
More details on meeting points, suitable clothing and what to bring will be sent out closer to the event.
