Pastors for NC Children <PastorsForNCchildren.org> is mobilizing faith leaders across NC to advocate for justice in public schools. We are a theologically, racially, geographically, and eccumenically diverse group of clergy and faith leaders from across NC who believe supporting public education is an important way we live into God's call to love our neighbors and care for our communities.
More specifically, we are a faith-based advocacy group working to bring systemic change to public schools in NC to support all children, especially those most marginalized by inequitable funding and support--specifically Black and Brown children, children with disabilities, English Language Learners, children in rural locations, pre-Kindergarten students, and children from low wealth families. As a coalition member of EveryChildNC <
everychildnc.org>, we are working to educate congregations and leaders about the importance of the Leandro Court Case (1994-present) and push for the fulfillment of the WestEd Report. To learn more visit <
