Harvest Hero Registration Form 2017
Being a Harvest Hero is a hugely rewarding and important part of our program! Harvest Heroes are fruit pick leaders who use their personal vehicles to transport ladders, carpool with volunteers, and donate fruit after picks. You will receive expense compensation for each pick. You also get to take home a share of fruit!

How did you hear about FruitShare Barrie?
What being a Harvest Hero might look like:
Our coordinator's van during 2015 harvest season after a weekend of picking apple trees. If you have a smaller vehicle, don't worry! You can share the load with other volunteers. Our ladders can fit in the trunk of a smaller vehicle with the back seat down.
What type of vehicle do you have?
This is helpful for delivering fruit, transporting ladders and carpooling.
Your answer
How much fruit can be transported in your vehicle? (How many boxes/baskets?)
Approximately how many boxes/baskets could you take to the Food Bank after a pick? Assume no carpooling. We sometimes harvest 300 lbs - that's 10 full "laundry baskets".
Are you willing to carpool?
We can arrange carpooling for people without vehicles including high school students completing community hours.
Required
If yes, how many people can carpool in your vehicle?
How many extra seats do you have?
