2024 Community Pride Event Application
Hosting a Pride event? Make it official!

Community Pride events will:
  • Be included on the Official Saskatoon Pride website, calendar and the new online Pride Guide.
  • Receive designation as an Community Pride event, including use of the Saskatoon Pride logo and Festival branding in event materials
  • Receive promotion via social media and/or select Saskatoon Pride posters and printed materials
  • Have access to apply for possible sponsorship/funds from Saskatoon Pride if needed

Community Pride event organizers are required to:
  • Assume responsibility and liability for the operation of said event, including taking precautionary measures to ensure safety.
  • Refrain from using the term “Saskatoon Pride” in your event title, with the exception of explicit indications of the relationship such as “in support of Saskatoon Pride” This distinction clarifies that your event is not operated by the entity of Saskatoon Pride.
  • Acknowledge if any proceeds will be donated to Saskatoon Pride.
  • Acknowledge any funds received from Saskatoon Pride to stage, operate, or market your event.
  • Refrain from speaking for, or on behalf of, Saskatoon Pride (Saskatoon Diversity Network)

To be designated as a Community Pride Event, events must uphold and prioritize the values of Saskatoon Pride, including:
  • Accessibility, Diversity & Inclusivity
  • Sustainability & Innovation
  • Equality, Cooperation, & Respect
  • Creativity, Sociability, Support, & Fun
  • Safety and adherence to official health and safety guidelines and recommendations.
