PWHC Virtual Work Exchange Application

Welcome! We are delighted that you are interested in joining the 2020 PWHC Virtual Work Exchange Team.

PWHC is looking for women who are willing to serve and support a virtual conference. Specifically, women with strong online technical support skills. Positions require a commitment of 12 hours of work time before, after or at PWHC, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, September 25-27, 2020.
Saturdays, September 5th, 12th, 19th, 2020 to support Pre-Conference workshops are also included.

PWHC Virtual Work Exchange Positions:
1. General Technical support positions pre & post PWHC weekend. i.e. transferring data, PWHC social media outreach, etc.
2. Technical support during pre-conference workshops (Zoom Platform/Break out room).
3. Technical support during the conference includes:(Zoom Platform/Break out room)

Host: responsible for admitting Teacher to classroom before class starts, admits participants to the room at class time, monitoring chat room, uploading presenters pre-recorded 1 hr. class and supporting any further Facilitator and Teacher's technical needs.
Moderator: Welcomes participants to the class room and to the Virtual PWHC conference. Introduces the Teacher. Supports Q & A with teacher and checks in with Host for Chat room questions. Wraps up workshop with Thank-you and good bye.

PWHC asks Work Exchange participants for a willing commitment and a level of involvement that prioritizes the conference’s needs. Work Exchange participants receive an Extended Access package that gives them access to the recorded PWHC classes and membership in the HerbWiseWomen online community for one year. The PWHC Extended Access package is a $249. value.

The application process is 4 simple steps.
Step 1: Fill out and submit the application online.
Step 2: Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will receive an email from the Work Exchange Coordinator to set up a phone interview.
Step 3: If it is determined the position is a good fit for both you and PWHC, you will receive an acceptance email
Step 4: The acceptance letter will have a Coupon Code to complete your conference registration as a Work Exchange participant.

Are you available for work exchange during PWHC pre-conference intensives on Saturday, September 5th 12th and/or 19th? Work exchange would be a 4 hour block of time. Pre-conference intensives run 12:00PM - 3:00PM plus half hour before and after event. *
