TEDxUNCGreensboro: IMPACT
Please read through this form completely if you would like to be considered as a speaker for the TEDxUNCGreensboro event taking place on campus on the evening of Friday, April 12, 2019, from 5pm-8pm. Only UNCG affiliated students, staff, faculty, and alumni will be considered.

There will be several meetings that you will be expected to attend, so please keep in mind the following dates:
All Call Group Meetings: Dec. 3rd, 9:30am-10:30am and Feb. 12th, 3:45-4:45pm
Dress Rehearsal: April 3rd -OR- April 4th, 3:45-5:45pm (you choose one)

We also have the great fortune of working with a Speaking Coach to help selected speakers in two individual sessions leading up to the event! Dr. Omar Ali, a veteran TEDx speaker and MC for our event, has shared how helpful it can be to work with a coach and so we able to secure Katie Marshall, of Creative Machine Consulting, to help us in this area. You can read more about her at https://creativemachineconsulting.com.

TEDxUNCGreensboro will center on "Impact," specifically how does your topic relate to impact on campus or in a community? It might be on the impact of a specific field of study or discipline. Think in terms of community impact, environmental impact, societal impact, economic impact, etc.

This invitation to speak is open to students, staff, faculty and alumni of UNCG. A committee will review all submissions and determine which Talk ideas best connect to Impact.

If you are interested in doing a Talk, please complete this form by November 28, 2018.

**Please take time to review the following website and YouTube video as you consider how to approach your idea worth sharing:
