Viking Hero!

Northridge Local Schools is proud to launch the Viking Heroes program, a district-wide initiative that celebrates students, staff, volunteers, and community members who go above and beyond by living out our Viking Values—trust, leadership, communication, collaboration, accountability, integrity, and respect. Whether it’s a student lending a helping hand, a teacher going the extra mile, or a volunteer making a difference behind the scenes, these acts of kindness, leadership, and integrity deserve to be recognized.

Each month, our Superintendent will honor Viking Heroes at board meetings. Honorees will receive a certificate and token of appreciation, and be featured on the Virtual Viking Heroes Wall on the Northridge website and in our quarterly journal.

Who can be nominated? Staff, students, volunteers, and community members who exemplify what it means to be a true Viking Hero.

Who can nominate a Viking Hero? Anyone who attends school or lives or works in the Northridge Local School District.
