Thank you for your interest in the Smithville Community in Action coalition.  The coalition is focused on youth substance use prevention in Smithville, Missouri. We work on environmental strategies including coordinating with law enforcement and policy makers, innovative ideas to change the physical design of locations conducive to youth use, celebrating and highlighting youth who make good decisions and making sure our retailers are rewarded for being the first line of defense against selling to minors. We also sponsor or provide leadership for several popular individual strategies that we couldn't make possible without support from the community like the billboards featuring local citizens on 169, All Stars Curriculum taught in the schools, Vape Lung presentation to 6th graders, 5th Quarter, the box fort challenge, and After Prom.
