DCO Advocate of the Year 2026: Nominee Request
For an Advocate of the Year Award, the strongest nominations tell a story of impact, commitment, and measurable results within Greene, Christian or Webster County. Since DCO serves individuals with developmental disabilities, the criteria should focus on advocacy, inclusion, leadership, and community impact rather than simply financial support.

General Eligibility Criteria Nominees should demonstrate one or more of the following: 
•    Advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodivergent 
•    Promotion of inclusion and accessibility 
•    Volunteer service and community involvement 
•    Leadership in advancing opportunities for people with disabilities 
•    Positive impact on DCO's mission or the disability community 
•    Commitment sustained over time (not just a one-time contribution)
