Coaching is not therapy. While it can be therapeutic, coaching focuses on the present and future rather than diagnosing or treating past issues.

Coaching is not mentoring. Unlike mentors, coaches don't necessarily have more experience in the client's field and instead focus on unlocking the client's potential.

Coaching is not counseling. While counseling often deals with exploring past experiences and addressing emotional issues, coaching focuses on setting and achieving future goals.

Coaching is not an instant cure-all. It requires commitment and effort from both the coach and the client to see tangible results.
