Internship Summary:Interns will work closely with the ASUW Director of Campus Partnerships and other ASUW employees for collaboration. Interns will learn about and help facilitate productive dialogue between students and partners on and off campus. Interns will contribute to discussions related (but not limited to) student safety, mental health, fundraising, student wellbeing, sustainability, and first year experiences. Interns will propose and complete individual projects. Interns will work 3-5 hours a week and build professional skills, leadership capacity, and understanding of the ASUW association.
Intern Responsibilities:- Attend Student Safety Advisory Board Meetings- Assist in curating programming and projects based on the student body needs- Help the Director of Campus Partnerships follow up on action items from various committee meetings- Propose personal project and report to Director of Campus Partnerships through implementation of the project- Assist in fundraising for the Husky Pride Fund (http://hpf.asuw.org)
Intern Qualifications:Prior community engagement experienceInterpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated enthusiasm about ASUWMust be a UW student enrolled at least 6 credits or On Leave as defined by Executive order 50
