Thank you so much for your willingness to support Omaha's World Refugee Day event as a volunteer!

Omaha's World Refugee Day is a free, public event that will be held at Levi Carter Park on June 18, 2022, 1pm - 5pm.

We have several volunteer positions available. We ask that all potential volunteers be willing to commit to at least a 1 hour or more shift. All volunteers will receive a World Refugee Day t-shirt in appreciation of your commitment to help at the event.

Set Up (12pm-1pm): Assist with preparing the Park for the event (setting up signage, assembling flags, directing traffic, etc.)

Tear Down/Clean Up (5pm-6pm): Assist with clean-up of the park for the event (removing signage, disassembling flags, gathering trash, etc.)

Health Fair Volunteer (UNMC, Bridge to Care, Douglas County Health Department, etc.)

Play Watch and/or Lake Watch: Monitor attendees in playground and/or lake area of park to ensure safety and security

Art Station Aid: Assist Joslyn Art Museum staff with art project stations

Entertainment Wranglers: Ensures entertainers are accounted for and prepared for scheduled performance time(s)

Information Booth: Answer general questions about the event (locations, schedules, etc.)
