The Standards Regulation and Enforcement Division (SRED) of BAFE has issued several technical regulations as an initial step in the implementation of its mandates pursuant to RA 10601 otherwise known as the Agricultural and Fisheries Mechanization Law.
With this, the BAFE will be conducting an initial public consultation on March 26, 2025 at 9:00 AM via an online platform to discuss the following:
- Certificate of Registration (COR) (formerly known as Certificate of Conformity) Compliance Monitoring Guidelines
- Amendment to Annex A of DC No. 08 Series of 2025 “Adoption of Philippine National Standards / Philippine Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Standards (PNS/PABES) as Technical Regulation for Agricultural and Biosystems Power and Machinery and Building and Structures” for Coffee Pulper, Grain Collector, Agricultural Mobile Elevating Work Platform, Agricultural Pumpset, and Internal Combustion Engine.
The consultation aims to generate comments and suggestions from key stakeholders in
the development and streamlining of the guidelines.
