Does your child avoid speaking in public or saying hello, goodbye or thank you to others? Do you have a child in your classroom who does not answer questions aloud or is nervous to present in front of the class? Some anxiety is normal, however when anxiety prevents typical/expected communication, it is time to seek some help. This virtual training, presented by licensed psychologist Dr. Alicia Goodman, PhD, NCSP will introduce parents and professionals to Selective Mutism (an anxiety based communication disorder), including debunking some common myths and helping you identify if your child may need specialized help.
This virtual training will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM (Arizona Time). The cost is $49. Each paid registration will receive 1 session link which will be provided by email 48 hours prior to training. NOTE: This workshop may be recorded.
Upon completion of this form, you will receive an invoice from Simply Psychology, LLC for your registration which will be due upon receipt. Spots are limited and will only be confirmed with your paid registration. Certificate of attendance provided upon request.
