Recital program files for student, guest artist, and faculty recitals: Upload final versions of files (which have already been proofread and approved by your instructor) through this registration form. Programs must be formatted in Microsoft Word using the templates provided on https://vpa.uncg.edu/music/performances/reserve-a-space/. (Please note: timings for selections (minutes per piece) will not be typed into the program, but entered into the registration form, instead.)
Students: This form will also serve as your Recital Jury Approval form. Recital juries should be completed and passed no later than one month prior to the recital date. Your instructor will receive an emailed copy of your responses to this form to verify you have passed your jury.
Recital Fee: $60 for all student recitals payable via cash, check made to UNCG, or credit card. If you wish to pay by card, please do so in the Box Office in the School of Music during their normal hours of operation (noon - 1pm; 5-6pm weekdays). Fee includes one personal copy of the recital recording. CD(s) will be available in the CVPA Dean's Office (Rm. 220) between one and three weeks after the recital date. Please pay one month prior to your performance date with Emily Ford-Coates in Rm. 331.
The following limitations will be observed in scheduling the concert halls for practice in preparation for student performances:
a. Recital appearances, less than 15 minutes performance time: 30 minutesb. Half recital, approximately 30 minutes music: 1 hourc. Full recital, undergraduate: 2 hoursd. Full recital, MM: 4 hourse. Full recital, DMA: 6 hours
ONLY RECEPTIONS CATERED BY UNIVERSITY CATERING WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE MUSIC BUILDING.
