31 Jan 2018 Total Lunar Eclipse - Share your event with everyone !
The regular play of shadows that occur between the Sun, Earth and the Moon will once again cause a Total Lunar Eclipse on the 31st of January 2018. The moon would still be below the horizon in India when the penumbral eclipse starts, but the umbral eclipse can be seen soon after moon-rise in the evening. The nice thing about a lunar eclipse is that we can enjoy it even without a telescope. It is even better to see it with friends, family, and others.

If you are planning to organise a viewing of the eclipse, from a place that has a clear view of the eastern horizon, with or without a telescope, and would like to make this information public, please do fill out the form below. We will them add your event on a map that will be published online for anyone to use.
