Huliau Climate Literacy Project Support Request
The Huliau Climate Literacy Project was launched in the fall 2017 and has since served over 1,800 students at seven schools in Maui. The mission of the project is to work with science teachers in grades 8-12 to integrate hands-on climate literacy activities into their curriculum in alignment with the Next Generation Science Standards. Through presentations and hands-on activities, students learn about the causes and impacts of climate change and investigate climate change solutions.

Our staff will work with teacher 8th-12th to create a custom schedule, provide in-class support teaching lessons, and lend out supplies/kits. If you are interested in implementing climate literacy curriculum in your classroom, please complete this short google form and a staff member will be in touch.
