CB Capital is a Chicago Booth student-run, student-invested VC fund which invests solely in Booth founders / entrepreneurs. We are launching for the first time in 2021.

We are seeking to raise a $1-1.5m fund through individual investments from Chicago Booth current students and alumni, at a minimum, guided by existing survey responses, of $5,000. Our unique investment club structure enables us to create this investment platform for our students/alumni. We have already received interest from 300 students since our soft launch in July/August.

As a result of our unique club structure, we require all LPs to vote on our investment decisions, with LPs forfeiting if they miss two consecutive votes. Additionally, we seek to add value to our future portfolio companies through our network and skills, including leveraging our investor base’s expertise.
