Community of Practice for Police Accountability and Transparency

Working in partnership with the White House Police Data Initiative, Code for America has committed to continuing to support the police chiefs, local government leaders, and technologists working on police accountability and transparency efforts through the creation of a Community of Practice. Within this community, members will work on applied problems together, share what they are learning with one another, "best practice" and otherwise, and create a network of support for the adoption of digital tools and standards.

To get started, we want to learn about your specific interests and expertise through this survey. There are also some questions about the vendors your police department uses that will help us provide more relevant technical advice and facilitate peer connections amongst departments that share vendors in common. We will use the information you provide to develop some initial webinars for the community of practice. Your email will be used only to communicate with you about the community of practice and Code for America's related public safety work, and you can always unsubscribe if you choose.
