Public Housing is a critical part of the Green New Deal, and in November 2019, Representative Ocasio-Cortez of NY and Senator Sanders of VT introduced this first piece of GND legislation, known as The Green New Deal for Public Housing Act.

Join us on Sunday, Feb 23rd for an afternoon dive into the this GND4PH where we'll discuss what it is, the significance, and what can we do to support it.

The goals of this training are to:
- Recognize the history of public housing in the US, and how this history lays the foundational context for this Act
- Understand and explain the Green New Deal for Public Housing to others
- Get to know which organizations and partners are already doing work on public & affordable housing in Boston
- Leave feeling inspired to bring this topic into conversations, as well as excited to meet with your representatives to urge their support
