The ME program (summer option) has been revised and will be implemented for Freshman students joining in 201. The revised program satisfies the following objectives: 1. fulfills the American Board of Engineering and Technology Accreditation (ABET) requirements, 2. the required courses have been updated to strengthen the design component, analytical and computational skills, experimental expertise, and data analysis, 3. accommodate new university requirements of Digital Foundation and Business courses (programming in Python, artificial intelligence, data science, and business and entrepreneurship). We kindly seek your opinion /feedback on these changes as follows:

Change#2: ME students are requested to take four new university required courses including - ICS 104 : Python and C programing (to replace ICS 103), ISE 291:  Data Science, COE 292:    Artificial Intelligence for Eng. & Scientists, BUS 200:  Business & Entrepreneurship. *

Change#3: Circuits (EE 204) and electro-mechanical devices (EE 306) courses are replaced with a single course and a lab, EE Principles and Applications of Electrical Engineering (EE 234 and its lab EE 235) which is 4 CH. This course will cover topics needed for future engineers: circuits, electronics, and micro-processors. *
