Western Cape Youth Entrepreneurship Tour (YET)

The Youth Entrepreneurship Tour aims to extend entrepreneurship development support across South Africa and Africa at large, in particularly in the township and rural communities. In addition, the tour seeks to showcase youth-owned ventures by providing a platform for young entrepreneurs to tell their stories about their entrepreneurial journeys through the Proudly African Youth Podcast. The podcast is a product of the YAEI Proudly African Communications company.

Objectives : 

  1. Information Hub : The tour seeks to provide entrepreneurs with information on development opportunities to enhance entrepreneurial intent, activity and impact.

  2. Advance Financial Inclusion : Entrepreneurs get to connect with funders for opportunities and gain insights on funding and banking.
  3. Entrepreneurship Development : YET’s a focus is on skilling and up-skilling intervention on entrepreneurship related subjects.
  4. Innovation : Harnessing high-impact Afrocentric, technology-driven and green economic solutions for the challenges in health, transport, social development, water, energy and environmental affairs.
