Biosafety Seminars at CEDOC
In collaboration with CONGENTO, IDDEXX will offer 2 seminars in Lisbon, on November 19th at CEDOC, from 10am to 12.00 pm:

- Are contaminated (or misidentified) cells preventing you from publishing results?
(Types of contamination, who is affected; Prevalence of agents in biological material (in vitro and in vivo); Genetic misidentification of cell lines and consequences; Case studies)

- New trends in animal health monitoring towards animal welfare
(Traditional methods vs modern approaches in: Quarantine Health Monitoring and Routine Health Monitoring on experimental/production areas; Methodologies: The 3R approach, Serology by MFI and MFI2, Confirmatory testing (IFA, WB), PCR by Real Time PCR; Filter Testing in IVC racks: Allentown-Sentinel & Tecniplast-Interceptor)
