Volunteers provide crucial support and aid to the continuing mission of Stream Texas to provide a safe and healthy environment for casters, viewers, and business partners to collaborate and network through facilitating meetups and other opportunities. Candidates should be self motivated, creative and reliable people who have a desire to help the Stream Texas community succeed. There are a variety of tasks that may be assigned to our volunteers, so those with strong communication and organizational skills are preferred.

Some examples of volunteer tasks:

+ Evaluate current marketing / fundraising efforts and develop strategies for future marketing opportunities.

+ Recognize sponsorship possibilities and manage plans for solicitation of individual and corporate sponsors.

+ Connect with other local groups and present opportunities to establish working relationships with them to the leadership team

+ Develop, plan, and assist at group events, meetups and otherwise, alongside leadership team

+ Brainstorm on event promotion, including increasing event turn-out as well as making sure events meet members needs

+ Select special guests, locations, activities for events

+ Audit members for streaming activity and participation with the group, either through working directly with other group members or promotion of the group and its endeavors.

+ Make sure members keep up to date with and practice items outlined in the code of conduct.

+ Report on activities by members that would not fall in line with the group's code of conduct.
