Please let us know if you are planning to attend VITA's (Vancouver Innovation, Technology and Arts) Open House. Attending an Open House is not a requirement to apply, but is highly recommended. Filling out this form will help us with planning our open houses. Thank you for leaving children at home so you can collect all of the important information to make an informed decision.
VITA's core values are to instill students, teachers and the community with the JOY of learning filled with INQUIRY, WONDER, & CREATIVITY through a new innovative practice.
-- The project-based learning school will focus on innovation, technology & arts and the development of downtown community partnerships that enhance student learning.
- STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (this means all learning is STEM infused).
- 21st Century Learning Skills, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, innovation and communication.
-Kindergarten through 2nd grade will be Reggio Emilia inspired and will explore vital themes: Agency, empathy, literacy, the arts, and playful inquiry drawing on children's natural learning and create conditions where children can develop complex ideas.
