NEC Symposium Trainee Scholarship
The NEC Society is a 501c3 dedicated to building a world without necrotizing enterocolitis. The NEC Symposium is made possible through a partnership between the NEC Society and Section of Pediatric Surgery at the University of Michigan, with support from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD).

The NEC Symposium will take place June 2nd - 5th in Ann Arbor, MI.

With support from the NICHD, the NEC Society will provide six $1000 scholarships for 6 students/trainees to help cover the costs of attending the NEC Symposium.

You may apply for this scholarship if you meet all three criteria:
1. You are a student, resident, fellow, post-doc, or trainee at an accredited academic institution.
2. You agree to attend the full NEC Symposium (June 2 - 5), if selected to receive the scholarship.
3. You are interested in patient-centered research and collaborating with patient-families.

Applications must be received by April 24.
