SMUSD Configuration Survey
With over 13% growth for the past two years, Tartesso Elementary School is becoming overcrowded. A Growth Planning Committee is studying options to alleviate the overcrowding at Tartesso on a short term and long term basis. One option under consideration is converting Tartesso to a K-5, moving Ruth Fisher K-5 to Winters Well, and making Ruth Fisher a comprehensive middle school. The RFES facilities and proximity to Tonopah Valley High School make it the ideal campus for a middle school. The committee would like your feedback on this option, including perceived challenges and advantages, as it develops recommendations for the Governing Board. Please provide your feedback through the following survey. Thank you.
