AMES Student Council Application 2017-2018
AMES Student Council members are representatives of the AMES student body. They act as liaisons between AMES students, faculty, and guests. Their first and foremost responsibility is to present a positive image of AMES. Student council also does much of the planning of AMES activities and events. Members must be able to effectively communicate with and represent the interests of their peers. PLEASE REVIEW THE FULL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES BEFORE YOU APPLY. AMES Student Council meets on B-day Monday mornings, during co-curricular time (9:00-9:42).

You MUST have periods A1 and B1 (early morning) open on your schedule, OR have teachers that are willing to accommodate you, to attend both student council meetings AND College Forum.

Requirements for AMES Student Council include:

In addition to AMES Student Council, I would be interested in becoming a member of the AMES/PTSO (Parent-Teacher-Student Organization).
AMES PTSO meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month, from 3:45-4:45 (transportation assistance is available, if needed).
