2026-2027 Wildflower Child & Family Center Nature Preschool Application
Thank you for your interest in our nature-based preschool program for the 2025-2026 school year.  We have so many wonderful experiences, places, and parts of nature to share with you and your family.  Now here's the logistics:

  • Children must be 3 years old before they begin with us in September 2026. Ohio House Bill 114 has recently changed the start dates for Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year. Children who have an August or September 3 year old birthday and apply for a spot at WCFC will need a quick phone conference to determine eligibility.
  • Mixed Aged groups of 3-5 year olds
  • A fully toilet trained class is our goal as this will provide the most flexibility when spending time in nature; however, we recognize that all children are on a continuum of developmental skills and will work with families through regressions and the final stages of developing toileting senses and behavior. Your child should be able to signal the need to go and sit on the toilet to use the restroom.
  • By filling out this registration form you have indicated your interest in enrolling your child.
  • We reserve the right to alter programming based on registration numbers.  
  • If there are more applicants than spots, we will hold a lottery to fill those spots.  
  • Once our classes are established, families will be contacted with an invitation to enroll or be entered into our waitlist.
  • Families will have 2 weeks from the date of invitation to submit their enrollment form and non-refundable enrollment fee of $100 (make checks payable to Wildflower Child & Family Center or you may pay with a credit card with an additional 3% to cover those charges).  This financial commitment will hold their spot and allow us to prepare our classroom environment with the needed supplies and most winter/rain gear the child will need for the year.
  • Families who are offered a spot will hear from us personally through the spring and summer and can expect to receive a packet of paperwork the first week of July to be returned no later than mid- August.  Tuition payments will begin August 4, 2024 and conclude April 4, 2025 (9 months of payment for 9 months of care) for 9 month classes.
  • If you move or decide to change your enrollment plans prior to the first day of school, we ask that you please tell us immediately so that we may offer that spot to the next family on the wait list.
