Dickinson County Public Transportation Survey
The North Central Kansas Coordinated Transit Council, along with KDOT and other area partners, is currently exploring the possibility of developing an experimental fixed route bus service. The proposed route would connect Salina, Abilene, Chapman, Junction and Manhattan along Interstate 70.

The fixed route will be supplemented by other transportation providers bringing customers to the bus stops as needed.

The proposed fixed route service would aid residents in gaining much needed access to healthcare, grocery stores, educational institutions, shopping, recreation and countless other amenities and services. Additionally, the bus route could act as an economic driver by better connecting citizens to employment centers along the route.

The purpose of this survey is to gain insight into the needs and wants of citizens. Because the bus route is in the early planning stages, public input is crucial to establishing a bus system that addressed the needs of the residents, as well as the region as a whole.
