RSVP: Oppose County Permits for Sable's Defective Oil Pipeline

A Texas oil company, Sable Offshore Corp., is charging ahead with dangerous plans to restart a failed pipeline that ruptured on the Gaviota Coast 10 years ago causing one of the largest oil spills in California history. Restarting the pipeline invites another oil spill disaster on our coast and would significantly increase fossil fuel production and GHG emissions in our communities. In addition to the corroded pipeline, this project would bring back three offshore drilling platforms and two onshore processing facilities that have been shut down since the 2015 spill.

On Tuesday, February 25th, the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors will consider the transfer of permits from ExxonMobil to Sable to resume operation of the facilities. We need your help to show our community's strength and urge the Board to deny the transfer of permits.

Can you join us in Santa Barbara on 2/25 and help bring a few friends and allies too?
