Entry requirements:
This competition is open to any Olympic Weightlifting New Zealand (OWNZ) financial member who has competed in at least one OWNZ sanctioned competition in 2018 from the 1st January 2018 to close of entries on the Sunday 24th June 2018.

Eligibility requirements:
A competitor must reside in the North Island to compete for a placing in the North Island Championships. If you do not reside in the North Island, you will be a guest lifter in this competition.

This is an open category event. There will not be medals for age groups.

You must be a current member of OWNZ.
International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) rules apply.
Uniform requirements are to be of IWF standard.
