Action Team 2 (Workforce Development) is pleased to invite members of Forest for All NYC and closely aligned partner organizations to join us for a series of workshops on the topic of expanding access to nature-based careers in NYC. Our goal with convening these workshops is to support the field of urban forestry to continue to adopt more equitable hiring practices to support individual job seekers and organizations in fostering a culture of inclusion in hiring.
Workshops are taking place in-person at The Nature Conservancy office located at 322 8th Avenue in Manhattan (the closest train stop is the 23rd Street C/E and we are a 10 minute walk from Penn Station).
We encourage you to register for as many of the workshops as your schedule allows, however please do give us ample notice if your plans change so that we can accommodate someone else.
