2020 Bio-Med Tech-Girls Application
The 7th annual Bio-Med Tech-Girls is going online! This program is a collaboration between the UVA Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), St. Anne's-Belfield School and Charlottesville Women in Tech. This year the week will be filled with guest speakers, hands-on activities and a design challenge focused on the Go Viral Project being developed by Dr. Jeff Saucerman and Dr. Shayn Peirce-Cottler from UVA BME.
- Who: Rising 9th through 12th graders
- When: August 3 -7, synchronous activities will happen between 10am and 4pm ET.
- Where: There will be synchronous (in person video conferencing) and asynchronous (do at your own pace or with a small group) activities. We will wrap up the week with a Demo Party to share all the awesome creating from the week!
- Cost: There is no cost for this year, but community building remains an important aspect of the program, so please don't be a "no show"
