Intro to Personal Finance Curriculum Recommendation Public Review

AB 2927 was passed in June 2024 that requires makes completion of a stand-alone, one-semester personal finance course a high school graduation starting with the 2031 graduating class. High schools must offer this course starting in the 2027-28 school year.

The adoption committee met and created a course outline, naming this one-semester required course, Intro to Personal Finance. After serious consideration and deliberation, the adoption committee has selected Financial Literacy (Nucleus, 2026)
