PARTICIPANT EXPECTATIONS:* Read assigned research articles* Participate in 3 online 1 hour meetings* Implement four (4) STEM experiences with students, selected from a list of provided lesson plans* Provide written feedback to facilitators using rubrics, surveys and other means to assess student engagement and learning* Provide informal reflection on the successes and challenges of implementing STEM experiences
BENEFITS TO PARTICIPANTS:* $500 stipend* Reimbursement for up to $250 in classroom materials* Support from a Community of Practice with peer teachers and STEM Hub facilitators
