Solar heat is already used in industry, in particular for agro-food industrial processes, to provide decarbonized heat mainly under 120 °C. The FRIENDSHIP project aims to demonstrate that solar heat coupled with a High Temperature Heat Pump and a Heat Storage can also be a reliable, user-friendly, high quality, and cost-effective resource to meet the heat requirements up to 300 °C for other industrial sector as Textiles, Plastics, and Wood.
HERE you can find a video presenting the solution developed in the FRIENDSHIP project.
By completing this questionnaire you will participate to the study which aims to:
1. Assessing the acceptance of the FRIENDSHIP solution.
2. Evaluate the compatibility of the plant with the integration of solar thermal energy, to bring out the technical obstacles.
It is presented in several sections covering both general questions about the company and the plant, energy needs and process organisation, and an economic approach to energy consumption.
The results of this questionnaire will be used anonymously and a report will be available on the FRIENDSHIP website in May 2023 (FRIENDSHIP PROJECT).
A training session on solar heat in industry will be organised in early 2024, in Chambéry (France), with a visit of the SHIP200 demonstrator
included.
