Spring Community Yoga Series
Join Lindsey Cassidy (RYT-200) and Brooke Hughes-Muse (RYT-200) for a 6 week yoga series to welcome in the spring season and shake off winter cabin fever by connecting with yogis in our community.
The series will run from March 25 through May 7 (no classes will be held April 15 and 16 in observance of Passover and Easter) and will consist of:
Saturdays: 9:00AM-10:15AM Vinyasa Flow (appropriate and adaptable for all levels)
Sundays: 4:00-5:15PM Slow Flow Yoga (appropriate for all levels)
All classes will be held on the second floor of the Pawlet Town Hall.
Vinyasa Flow-6 weeks: $48 ($8 per class)
Slow Flow-6 weeks: $48 ($8 per class)
Vinyasa Flow & Gentle Restorative-6 weeks: $84 ($7 per class)
Drop in rates: $10 per class
Vinyasa Flow: Vinyasa yoga fluidly links movement with breath to bring awareness into the body while building heat. Lindsey crafts a mindful, playful and compassionate flow that will draw attention to the breath and the body's alignment to cultivate awareness of the present moment. Each class will move through a gentle warmup, traditional sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, ending in a restorative place of rest and integration. A range of modifications and postures will be offered making this class accessible to all levels. Please bring a yoga mat and any additional props you would like.
Slow Flow: Enjoy a slower, meditative flow, followed by gentle restorative poses and a long savasana for relaxation. Slow flow and restorative poses reduce stress, calm the nervous system, lower the heart rate, and allows the mind to slow and reconnect with the body. This class is a lovely way to begin or end your week. Please bring a yoga mat and any additional props you would like.
