The Biological Research and Services Laboratory (BRSL) invites you to attend the Plant Chromosome Preparation Workshop this May 30, 2025, Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to be held at the Conference Room of the Natural Sciences Research Institute (NSRI), University of the Philippines Diliman.
LECTURE TOPICS:
* Plant genetics
* Genotoxicity
* Allium cepa test
* Laboratory biosafety
HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES:
* Root tip collection
* Staining & slide preparation
* Microscopy & cell counting
The workshop fee is Php 5,000, inclusive of workshop kit and meals. Please note that this is non-refundable.
A certificate of completion will be given to those who attend the training and complete all the hands-on activities.
