RSVP: ILPS Solidarity School 2023 Registration Form
ILPS Seattle-Tacoma will be hosting our second Solidarity School, bringing together progressive and anti-imperialist organizations and individuals to tacticize, strengthen our movement building, and unite on campaign directions into 2023. Building off of the success of last year’s Sol School to help develop unities across the left in Seattle, this year's Solidarity School will be July 1-2.

The two main themes of Solidarity School this year center around ILPS US campaigns: 1) Defend People’s Struggle! An anti-state repression campaign targeting Biden’s Countering Domestic Terrorism program. 2) No to APEC! A campaign to oppose neoliberal trade negotiations happening here in Seattle this August.

In addition to an anti-state repression panel, a presentation on neoliberalism, and a mobilization against APEC, we will be hosting workshops from over 20 organizations and alliances including: International Migrants Alliance, Students United for Palestinian Equality and Return UW, Black Prisoners Caucus Community Group, Sông2Sea, Anakbayan Seattle, Puget Sound Tenants Union, Super Familia, International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines (ICHRP) Seattle, Shut Down King County Jail Coalition, Puget Sound John Brown Gun Club, Sam VSO Union members, Gabriela Seattle, Resist US-Led War Seattle, Anakbayan UW, Stop the Sweeps, Capybara Colectiva, Puget Sound Prisoner Support, International Women's Alliance, ANSWER Coalition Seattle, Anakbayan South Seattle, Seattle Caucus of Rank and File Educators, and Freedom Road Socialist Organization Seattle

Logistical Information

When: 9a - 6p, July 1-2

Where: Oak Hall Denny Room, University of Washington

Masking required and covid-testing encouraged. Masks available at the door for those without.

Suggested donation to attend: $30-50. You can Venmo @ILPSseattle (with caption "sol school") or bring cash the day of. This money helps reimburse venue and food costs and contributes to our alliance initiatives like the anti-APEC Peoples' Summit and Mobilization!
