I understand that this hike entails hiking off-trail and that there are a variety of known and unknown risks and hazards associated with this activity, including twisted ankles, falling branches, wet feet, ticks, etc. This is something that I am comfortable with. I will wear appropriate clothing for the weather and wear footwear with a reasonable amount of traction (no slick-bottom shoes). All participants will be required to sign a waiver. *
