MICRO Inclusion Survey

This survey explores feelings of belonging at your home institution, where you spend most of your time, and at research conferences, where you experience the larger research community. Many factors contribute to one's sense of belonging and inclusion -- we encourage you to think broadly about all of them. Social theory shows more inclusive communities improve career satisfaction and increases participation from all groups of people. This survey is anonymous and it is not collecting emails. Aggregate responses and examples will be shared. Please do give concrete examples, but don't name names or institutions.

We are sending this survey to people attending MICRO 2021 and thus the focus will be on the Computer Architecture Community. (A similar survey has been sent to PLDI 2021 attendees and ISCA 2021 attendees.)

This survey is intended to generate reflection and discussion. The survey results will be reviewed by SIGARCH/SIGMICRO CARES members, and we will release our findings to the community.
